At The Ruby Center for Speech and Language Therapy LLC, our mission is to empower children and their families by providing comprehensive pediatric speech and language therapy.
We offer a variety of speech and language services, centered around helping to increase overall communication skills to enhance and enrich your child’s daily life and social interactions. Each treatment plan is personalized to each child and their specific communication needs, whether they are working on speech, language, feeding, fluency, or AAC.
Through compassionate family centered, child lead care and evidence-based practices, our goal of helping children unlock their full communicative potential and fostering meaningful connections with those around them can be achieved.
Julia Hurd, MS CCC-SLP
Julia Hurd is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Massachusetts. She has a passion for helping kids gain confidence in their communication skills through all modes of communication. Her areas of interest include Fluency, Feeding, and Expressive Language skills but she has experience working with a variety of children with varying diagnoses such as Phonological Disorder, Autism, and Stuttering, to Cerebral Palsy, Pediatric Feeding Disorder, and Developmental Language Delay.
Her passion for the field and the children she works with only continues to increase which is what brought her to open her own practice. With this practice she hopes to grow an inclusive environment where all forms of communication are welcome and used everyday.
