Speech and Language Evaluations
Alternative Augmentative Communication
Language Therapy is also provided through a total communication approach in which sings, pictures, gestures, and sounds/words are accepted. Children who benefit from multimodal forms to communicate effectively are provided specialized AAC treatment. Whether using communication devices or low-tech tools, we empower children to express themselves and engage meaningfully with their world.
Treatment of Speech, Language, and Fluency
We provide individualized speech and language therapy to help children improve their articulation, expressive and receptive language, and overall speech clarity. Through a child lead approach, we work to enhance vocabulary and sentence structure, while also their ability understand and use language in their daily life.
Our goal is to support children in developing clear, effective speech that enhances their ability to express themselves and be understood by others, helping them to engage with their peers, family, and community.
Adult Services
We also provide services to adults in order to improve communication skills, including speech fluency, memory, attention, and problem-solving. Whether managing a medical condition or enhancing everyday communication, our therapy is personalized to support your goals and needs.
Our feeding therapy focuses on helping kids in overcoming challenges with feeding and swallowing. We support children ages birth to 18 in improving oral motor skills and mealtime behaviors, creating a positive relationship with food and helping them develop essential skills for safe and enjoyable eating.
Feeding and Swallowing Therapy
If your children is experiencing speech disfluencies such as stuttering, our fluency treatment aims to increase their confidence in communication. Through understanding and accepting their disfluencies, we will work towards managing and reducing disfluent speech while promoting fluid and comfortable speech patterns.
